Recently I had the opportunity to attend a lecture by the infamous Gregory Crewdson. This was an amazing thing for me as I have studied and idolised his work since I first started photography. If you have never looked at his work, I suggest you check it out: Gregory Crewdson.
Explaining the thought process behind a couple of the images, the cameras used and even the size of the team used to create such extravagant images, the hour lecture allowed me to view his images in a whole new light and even gave me some ideas for my own work down the track. If you love large scale imagery and using a variety of different lighting, Gregory Crewdson is a must look at photographer!
